Out of Coverage

With so many items stuffed in my calendar, my favorite thing to do these days is to turn off my phone, steal away at a quiet place, and read a book or magazine in peace. This is exactly what I did a couple of days ago when I saw this yummy-looking slice of pizza with portobellos, onions, and bell peppers--three of my fave ingredients in one bite! I've found that by disconnecting myself, even for just a few minutes a day, I get this burst of renewed energy to finish all the tasks on my to-do list.

Which is why, I think, I've been loving my Bikram Yoga sessions. For 90 minutes, I rid myself of all thoughts of home and work concentrating only on the task at hand: to execute my poses correctly while trying not to melt altogether in the 39-degree Celsius heat.

Honestly, I thought I would never find the time to attend these classes. After all, it's 90 minutes. And then you'd have to shower afterwards. That's another 30 minutes. Which means two hours of being out of coverage. Not counting the minutes it would take to get there and then get home. Yes, I know, excuses, excuses! Mwahahaha

But surprise, surprise! I've managed to squeeze in three sessions in a busy week marked by a quick out-of-town trip right smack in the middle. Yes, I am definitely loving the heat!
