Movie Catch Up

I love staying at home. And this weekend, I was able to do one of the things I love doing at home: watching movies.

So depressing! For a movie about sex, Shame is not so very sexy. Actually, it's really kinda sad. Michael Fassbender is a sex addict who finds no pleasure in sex. He just plows his way through New York, and has sex with practically everyone he encounters (including a man) except for one woman who he seems to really like. Sad, sad, sad...

This one is way happier. And it seemed like Julia Roberts had a lot of fun playing the Evil Queen. I read somewhere that the guy who directed this movie is the same guy who did Jennifer Lopez's The Cell, which accounts for the stunning visuals. I like the dwarves, so cute, but Snow White singing at the end with her not-so-great voice was kinda off.

OK, this one is scary. And Charlize Theron is definitely a bad-ass evil queen! I love it that it's an action movie. Well, of course, Thor is there so they have to make use of his muscle power mwahahaha

Ah, Denzel! Any sort of movie can be saved by Denzel! Sure, Ryan Reynolds has the body of an action star, but his face seems like a mismatch. He's like a baby-faced kid. Maybe he should grow a beard? Mwahahahaha Anyway, watch out for Denzel's death scene. Career!
