I spent most of last week in this quiet, tree-lined campus. It's a peaceful place for learning and I'm grateful that my son has the opportunity to stay here for the next four years. Truth to tell, he's awfully excited about it, and I could perfectly understand why.
When I first set foot on the university that was to be my home for four years, I could hardly contain myself. It was a new school with new teachers, new friends. And I was pretty sure that I was going to get into all sorts of new adventures. I wasn't wrong. I enjoyed every minute of those four years: learning from these incredible teachers, making life-long friends, falling hopelessly in love, and discovering stuff about myself that would serve me well for years and years to come.
Happy new school, S!
