My blog looks so kawawa na pala. It's already June, and I've only had 33 posts. Hay, what happened? Well, life happened, that's what!
Anyway, last weekend, my kids and I had a little sleepover at Bellevue. It's been quite some time since all five of us slept in one room together. It's also been quite some time that we were, all of five of us, in one room together. E is working and so is K, at least for the summer. F has no real break from college. And while I'm not out every single day of the week, I'm usually in front of the computer when I'm home, tapping away. Yes, I am absolutely no fun when I'm working.
I remember having an e-mail conversation with my dear friend I, who's also a mom like me, about how kids grow up so fast. One day you're the sun around which their universe revolves around in, and the next you're in a galaxy far, far away. And so it was just nice to sleep and hang out.
One thing that hasn't changed though is their seemingly insatiable passion for food. The boys ate, and ate, and ate, getting plate after plate of sushi, octopus, salami, prawns, risotto, what-have-you. They reserved most of their appetite for the roast beef, which was, they said, tender and delicious. E didn't do too bad, attacking the dessert station with gusto--and having halo-halo after decimating all the sweet treats on her plate.
Must plan another sleepover :)
