It was so hot today that I found myself just nodding off to sleep. I was trying to get some writing down on my netbook (Yes, it's alive!!) when my eyes just got heavier and heavier. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep. I woke up two and a half hours later, energized and refreshed. I think my body just switched to automatic shut down mode because of the heat.
Actually, I wanted to just sleep and sleep and sleep. After all, it's supposed to be a day of rest for us workers. Unfortunately, mommy duties prevailed and I had to dash to the mall to get us some groceries--but not before indulging in this dessert of a treat, the Waffle Foldover at Pancake House. Two giant scoops of ice cream folded onto a waffle, glazed with peanut butter and chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with chocolate candies. It was so good! :)
