Green Man

"I'm scared of the green man, Lula," Baby S told me. No, we're not talking about little green men. We're talking about this big green man who knocked on our door last Wednesday.

Tuesday, M texted me: "We have a surprise for you. What's your address?" I texted him back, then thought nothing of it. When my kids called me up Wednesday afternoon to say that The Hulk was outside our door, I was indeed totally surprised! My kids got so flustered that they didn't even think of taking pictures. Well, who wouldn't be flustered when a giant of a hulk comes to your door with two buckets of Jollibee Chickenjoy? I suppose they were scared to see The Hulk but happy to see the Chickenjoy! Mwahahahaha I was so bummed that I wasn't home. Fortunately, apart from the crispy Chickenjoy, The Hulk and Thor (yes, there were two superheroes who went to our home) also brought with them tickets to the premiere screening of The Avengers. And so, I had a chance to meet up with these superheroes.

"Lula, he's shouting at you," says Baby S when she saw this picture. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring Baby S to the movies, she's too little still.

Notice the fan in the background? Even The Avengers couldn't stand the heat in Manila!!
